A da'wah film documenting discussions on many topics in Islam with non-Muslims & Muslims alike in several cities across North America.

About Me

My name is Brother Phil and over 10 years ago, I accepted Islam. Since then, and in my attempt to spread the message of Islam, I set out to produce many short da'wah videos online which have been viewed all around the world.

I produce these videos because sharing the truth is a trust on every single Muslim. Living in the West, I have come to learn that da'wah is one of the biggest weaknesses in the Muslim community. With the help of Allah (swt), and then the help of all of my fans, my videos have been seen all over the world.

My fans have empowered themselves in the project by sharing my videos, and interacting in da'wah discussions. If you haven’t already seen my videos, feel free to check out my YouTube channel @ YouTube.com/DawahPhil.

The Project

Today, I'm trying to empower my fans with a different project—a much larger and work intensive project—which is to film and create the very first Da'wah Documentary Film in North America. This consists of hitting the streets in over 18 different cities in the US and Canada, opening the discussion and dialogue with non-Muslims and Muslims alike about various topics in Islam, and documenting and compiling these interactions.

This documentary, when completed, will serve as a wealth of information about Islam, including many hot topics, such as hijab, the concept of God, Jesus (peace be upon him), Prophets and Messengers, Religion and Science, the Afterlife, etc. It will also be an example of the tactics and different da'wah strategies Muslims can use when spreading the truth about Islam.

As a whole, this documentary will therefore be able to clear up several misconceptions of Islam, empower the Ummah, build bridges of understanding between Islam and the West, and ultimately, God Willing, guide the masses to the truth—Islam.

This project is much more cost intensive than my small da'wah videos, as it includes: travel, accommodations, production costs, post-production costs, public relations and marketing.

My team and I have completed the film’s storyboard, selected our demographics, acquired the necessary film equipment, and are now ready to film this documentary. All we need are the funds to make it happen.

What is Needed

The success of this project depends on you. We are asking all of you for your du`a', and most importantly, your investment. We have set up a rewards program for all of our supporters. By funding this project, you receive khayr in this life and God Willing, in the next.

Rewards

On the right column, you'll see a list of all of the rewards we are offering for different amounts funded. For example: for a $100 fund, we will send you a long sleeve da'wah shirt, in your choice of 4 available colors (Black, Creme, Gray, or Dark Chocolate), and 3 available sizes (Small, Medium, or Large).
